Contemporary Worship
at Yellow Medicine Sunday evenings

Beginning Sunday, May 4, you're invited to a service of contemporary worship at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls every Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The service includes some of the best of recent Christian music, and a lively service setting from the new hymnal Evangelical Lutheran Worship. We've been using the internationally acclaimed Alpha series as our theme through the spring -- now look forward to something new beginning in June!

Parish Council: Lay Leadership

Our May meeting of the Healing Waters Parish Council will emphasize planning for lay leadership. Strong, vibrant parishes seek out and build on the gifts of all their members -- we'll work together toward that goal!
Part of our lay leadership work for May will be to continue planning for our September 7 All-Parish Rally Day event at Oraas Park. Look forward to outdoor worship and Sunday School, a potluck picnic, special music, and games for the kids!

Leading worshipers in singing is a unique art and skill. Those with extensive training in music will discover new ways of thinking and leading singing. Those with limited experience will be nurtured and encouraged with practical, hands-on ideas. The diverse repertoire of assembly song in ELW will be explored.
