Healing Waters Parish gathered for the first time on September 19, 2004, for Celebration Sunday! We met at Bergen, on a glorious prairie morning - over three hundred, from all seven of our Healing Waters congregations. |

|
|
Our team met early, to get the tent set up for worship. It was amazing how well they worked together! |
||||
|
|
|
||||
|
|
Worship furnishings came from all across Healing Waters Parish. Every one of our congregations was visibly represented at the altar, on this first day of our life together. |
||||
|
|
|
||||

Here we are, gathered, and waiting for worship to begin! |

Jon Anderson, bishop of our Southwestern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA, was our guest preacher for Celebration Sunday. |

Our first lead pastor of the parish, Allan Johnson, was installed during worship on Celebration Sunday. |

After worship our setup crew was back to work, moving chairs and getting the tables ready for our celebration potluck dinner. The basement was set up with six lines of tables, full of good things. |
||||
|

Now our mission begins! We are gathered in faith and sent to serve in the name of Jesus Christ! |
